BREAKING: The FG declares Monday a public holiday to celebrate Workers’ Day.

To commemorate this year’s International Workers’ Day, the Federal Government has declared Monday, May 3, 2021, a public holiday.

Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Minister of Interior, who made the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government, congratulated Nigerian workers on their participation in this year’s celebration.

He praised them for their patience, understanding, and support in advancing the policies and programs of the President’s regime, Major-General Muhammadu Buhari (retd. ), “in its determination to move the country to the next level of socioeconomic development.”

The statement was titled, ‘FG declares Monday, May 3, 2021 public holiday to commemorate 2021 Workers’ Day.’

“Government is putting all strategies in place to curb the challenges of insecurity in the country,” the minister added. As a result, I urge the labor force and all patriotic citizens to devote themselves fully to the task of putting an end to insecurity as soon as possible.”

Aregbesola wished all Nigerian workers a happy and peaceful May Day.
