President Muhammadu Buhari approved the reappointment of Dr. Garba Abari as Director-General of the National Guidance Agency (NOA).

Information and Culture Minister Alhaji Lai Mohammed announced the renewal in a statement released Thursday in Abuja.

The statement was signed and made available to journalists by Mr. Segun Adeyemi, the President’s Special Assistant (Media) in the Minister’s Office.

The minister said the appointment, which took effect on May 25, was for a final five-year term.

The Nigerian News Agency (NAN) reports that Abari was first appointed to this post in 2016. (NAN)
