Nigerian Army seeks divine intervention in fight against terrorists, bandits

The Nigerian Army is seeking divine intervention in the fight against insurgency and banditry.

Maj. Gen. Victor Ezeugwu, the Acting Commander TRADOC Minna spoke at an inter-denominational church service to mark NADCEL 2021 of the Nigerian Army.

“It is time to seek divine intervention for success in all operations in line with the motto of the Nigerian Army – Victory is from God alone”, he said.

Ezeugwu remembered officers and men who paid the supreme price while fighting to secure the nation.

The General noted that their sacrifices will never be forgotten and prayed that their souls rest in peace.

The commander said the year under review recorded the death of the Chief of Army Staff Lt.-Gen Ibrahim Attahiru and eleven others in a plane crash.

Ezeugwu hailed the collaboration among security agencies and appealed to Nigerians to support and pray for troops involved in operations across the country.
