
Thirteen persons have been allegedly killed by armed herdsmen in Tse-Amgbem community close to Aondoana in Gwer West LGA of Benue state.
According to eyewitness account, the attackers also burnt down the houses in the community in the early hours of Monday morning, leaving several others wounded, while survivors in their hundreds have been displaced and are now taking refugee in Aondoana town.
Although the police public relations officer Benue state command, DSP Sewuese Anene confirm the attack but says details of the attack like those who perpetrated the attacks, number of casualties, those wounded and the extend of the damage at the community, is still being awaited.
