Unknown gunmen set fire to the Nsukwa Divisional Police Station in Delta State’s Aniocha South Local Government Area, killing three police officers.
We learned that the thugs attacked the Police Station around 2 a.m. on Sunday.
The building and vehicles were reportedly destroyed, while the hoodlums carted away their ammunition.
As of the time of filing this report, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, had not returned calls to his cell phone seeking confirmation of the incident. However, police sources in the neighboring community of Ogwash-Uku confirmed the attack.
