Francis Bartholomew Chima, aka OmoBarca, the Peoples Democratic Party’s candidate for the House of Representatives in the just-concluded National Assembly election for the Ajeromi Ifelodun federal constituency, has clarified his motivations for endorsing and helping Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the incumbent governor of Lagos State, win in his constituency.

OmoBarca who just returned from vacation in London, had called on his supporters to vote for Sanwo-Olu in the March 18 governorship election.

In a video posted on social media the PDP chieftain disclosed his satisfaction with the first term of Sanwo-Olu as governor and passed a vote of confidence on him. He thereafter pledged to use his massive political structure to deliver Ajeromi Ifelodun for All Progressives Congress in the Guber polls.

OmoBarca further regretted that in spite of winning the primary elections for House of Representatives, the People’s Democratic party dragged him up to Supreme Court and wasted all his efforts and resources to lose the election.
According to him, PDP has failed to reward his loyalty and not regard him as a party faithful hence his endorsement of Governor Sanwo-Olu.
“I do not owe anybody any explanation or seek permission from PDP before doing what is in my best interest. PDP as a party wasted my time and energy from Appeal Court to Supreme Court. I am satisfied with supporting and endorsing Mr Sanwo-Olu for second term in Lagos State.” OmoBarca says.
