by Totori News

Andrew Oche Odoh, the number one ranked golfer in the country has applauded the Professional Golfers Association of Nigeria (PGA) for organising a Nigerian Tour.

Odoh said, in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Lagos, the initiative would avail players an avenue to sharpen their competitive skills.

He added that it was a right step in the right direction and would reposition golf in the country.

“It is commendable; it shows that members of the executive of PGA of Nigeria are progressives. They are concerned about the growth of players, given the drought of tournaments.

“Although it goes beyond launching the initiative; it’s going to take the collaborative efforts of stakeholders and enthusiasts. A lot of work will have to go into it to make it work.
